Blake uses tiebreak momemtum to sink Moya

NEW YORK, Sep 4 (Reuters) Fifth seed James Blake fought off four set points in the second-set tiebreaker on his way to a 6-4 7-6 2-6 6-3 victory over Carlos Moya to earn a place in the US Open round of 16.

American Blake trailed 6-2 in the pivotal tiebreak before running off six points in row to win it. The last point came on a replay challenge by Blake that showed the Spaniard's forehand drive had landed just wide of the line yesterday.

The 26-year-old Blake claimed the decisive break in the eighth game of the fourth set to grab a 5-3 lead over the former French Open champion and clinched victory in the next game when Moya's backhand serve return sailed long.

Blake next plays 12th seed Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic, a five-set winner over Russian Dmitry Tursunov, the 23rd seed.
