Babulal Marandi appeals UPA for mid-term poll in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Sep 4 (UNI) President of Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Democratic) and Former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi today appealed to the UPA to go for the mid-term poll as it was the only option left in the present political scenario in Jharkhand.

Talking to the UNI, Mr Marandi said the UPA and its partners should not be feared of mid-term poll as it was for the benefit for the people in state.

He said the people were not optimistic with the present political scenario and wanted change and any alternative government would have same faces without any change.

On the issue of an extra burden because of mid-term poll, Mr Marandi said the poll would cost about Rs 100 crore and alleged that thousands of crores were being spent in corruption.
