Report submitted to govt on allegations against Minister

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 3 (UNI) The preliminary report of the probe into the allegation that Kerala Public Works Minister P J Joseph had misbehaved with a woman passenger on board a flight was handed over to the government today.

Inspector General B Sandhya, who was entrusted with the inquiry, handed over the report to the Home Secretary.

Meanwhile the Left Democratic Front(LDF) is meeting here on the issue.

It had been alleged that Mr Joseph misbehaved with a woman co-passenger in a flight once cabin lights were switched off for take off from Chennai to Kochi on August three.

IG Sandhya recorded the statement of the victim in Chennai and later on questioned the Minister, who claimed that a casual bodily contact during the flight take off was blown out of proportion by political opponents to tarnish his image.
