Nine people from Bhandara Dist killed in road accident in Karnataka
Nagpur, Sep 3 (UNI) Nine people, including seven women, all from Maharashtra's Bhandara distrct were killed after their vehicle collided with an oncoming speeding truck at Boramhattimum village in Chitradurg district in the neighbouring Karnataka.
Jawahar nagar traffic control police told UNI yesterday over phone that the deceased, who were residents of Jawahar nagar in Bhandara district, were returning from Tirupati when the mishap occurred.
In the incident, two others were seriously injured, who have been admitted to a hospital in Bangalore.
The deceased were identified as Natthu Babare, Mangesh Sathwane (driver and owner of vehicle), Wacchabai Babare, Shantabai Borghare, Vimalbai Hatwar, Kamalabai Tijare, Mayurabai Sathwane, Meharabai and Lichchhabai, they added.
