Helicopter service during Navratri at Ambaji temple

Junagadh, Sep 3 (UNI) Devotees visiting the famous Ambaji temple situated atop the Girnar hill here would get a helicopter service this year.

An agreement of this effect was inked yesterday between the District Collector Bipin Kumar Shrimali and Mr H S Kalra, an executive of a Delhi-based company, Dwarakadheesh Financial.

The helicopter service is expected to commence during the Navratri festival scheduled to begin from September 23. A helicopter from the helipad at Jaffar maidan here would take five persons per sortie and reach the Ambaji temple in 12 to 15 minutes. The cost of the trip will be Rs 5,000 per head.
