2 injured in grenade blast at Dimapur
Kohima, Sep 3 (UNI) Two persons were injured when unidentified miscreants hurled a low powered improvised Chinese made grenade in an electronic shop on Nyamo Lotha road of Dimapur town yesterday.
According to police today, some miscreants were seen moving suspiciously in front of the shop before the blasts.
The injured were auto rickshaw drivers, who had been admitted in hospital.
Police investigation was on to ascertain the motive behind the crime and to apprehend the culprits.
This was the fourth incident of throwing grenade on the shops in Dimapur town.
On April 22, a grenade was thrown at one shop at Naga arcade, another on May 29 at a shop in the New Market area, and on on August 12 at a shop in Naharbari area.
