Small fire at Parivahan Bhawan, put off in minutes

New Delhi, Sept 2 (UNI) A minor fire incident today took place in Parivahan Bhawan on Paliament street in New Delhi area this afternoon.

However, no loss of life or property was reported and the fire brought under control within minutes, according to the Fire Brigade.

''The fire, which erupted due to short circuit on the NCB Board, at about 1205 hrs and was put off at 1215 hrs.'' Several fire tenders were sent but being a small fire, not much effort was needed in dousing it, they added.
