Six of a family killed in house collapse

Jammu, Sep 2 (UNI) Six members of a family died and one was injured in a house collapse due to landslide in the mountainous area of Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir today.

According to police, the incident took place in Kathel village of Kathua district at 0600 hrs this morning.

The deceased have been identified as Dharam Singh (60), his wife Chinta Devi (55), son Lekhraj (24), daughter-in-law Rano Devi (22), grandson Vikku (6) and a five-month-old infant. Another member of the family Sieno Devi (29) was injured and admitted to a hospital in Kathua.
