Rolling stone kills two in Lahaul Spiti of HP

Shimla, Sep 2 (UNI) A 25-year old youth and his one and a half year old son were killed after they were hit by a rolling stone from a mountain hill near Rohali in Lahaul Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, official sources today said.

The incident occurred near Rohali, about 10 kms from Tindi, in the district, killing both of them on the spot.

The sources said the bodies were handed over to their relatives after the post mortem examination.

The district administration has announced an immediate relief of Rs 10,000 each to the next of the kin of the dead.

Local MLA Raghubir Singh Thakur has expressed grief and sorrow over the incident, the sources added.
