Notorious UP criminal gunned down in Bharatpur

Bharatpur, Sept 2 (UNI) Notorious criminal Gobind Babriya was killed in a police encounter in Bharatpur district today.

The encounter occurred in Nagla Bartai village in Chiksina area.

superintendent of police Anand Srivastav said Babriya, a resident of Fatehpur Sikri in Agra district, has several dozen cases of murder, loot, dacoity pending against him in Uttar Pradesh.

The police recovered a cache of arms including live bullets from Babriya.
