Kerala Governor greets people on the eve of Onam

Thiruvananthapuram, Sept 2 (UNI) Kerala Governor R L Bhatia today greeted people on the eve of Onam, the harvest festival of the state.

In a message, Mr Bhatia said, ''I greet the people of the state, Malayalees living all over world on the occasion of Onam, the National Festival of Kerala. I convey my hearty good wishes to one and all on this joyous occasion''.

''Springing from the glory of a golden past, Onam flourishes in an ideal ambience of unity and equality. It combines the fond memories of a by-gone period and sweet dreams of a better tomorrow in a spirit of camaraderie and celebration,'' he said.
