Jet Airways hikes surcharge on domestic tickets

Mumbai, Sept 2: Jet Airways today said it would increase fuel surcharge on all classes of domestic flight tickets by Rs 100 with effect from September 5.

Issuing a statement to the effect, the Company said the increase in surcharge was on account of a rise in aviation turbine fuel costs.

For tickets issued outside the country, the surcharge would be USD 16 (equivalent to Indian currency of Rs 744) on all domestic routes, it said.
