Horticorp. to start sale of tender coconut

Thrissur, Sep 2 (UNI) The Horticulture Corporation will soon start sale of tender coconut with the help of the Coconut Development Board, Corporation Chairman E S Rajendran said here today.

Addressing a press conference, Mr Rajendran said the Corporation had procured 1200 tonnes of vegetables and fruits for sale during the Onam festival.

The Corporation was expecting sales worth Rs. 1.25 crore during the festival time, he added.
