Excise officials seize 5 kg of ganja

Thrissur, Sep 2 (UNI) Excise officials seized five kg of ganja, valued at about Rs 1.5 lakh, and arrested one person in this connection here today.

Sivan Kanjirathadathil, 33, a native of Idukki district, was nabbed by the excise officials from the premises of the private Aswini Hospital here while he was trying to sell the 'ganja' to retailers, official sources said.
