Youth nabbed for sending threatening e-mails to President Kalam
Mumbai, Sept 1 (UNI) A 30-year-old youth has arrested in Thane district for allegedly sending threatening e-mails to President A P J Abdul Kalam.
The Ulhasnagar police station sources today confirmed the arrest, saying that one Kumar Arjundas Hotchandani (30) was arrested on Monday from his Girdhar Nivas residence at Ulhasnagar.
Police said the accused is believed to be mentally disturbed because of which he might have sent threatening e-mails to the President. He was arrested under section 506(II) IPC.
The Delhi Crime Branch sleuths which arrived here took him to Delhi last evening on a transit remand from a local Magistrate court, the sources added.
