Silver zooms up, gold rise on bullish global advice

Mumbai, Sep 1 (UNI) Prices of silver zoomed up, while gold rose on bullish global advice in the opening session, traders at the bullion market today said.

Following were today's opening spot rates : Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade : Rs 19,670, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint: : Rs 9,475, Gold 99.9 purity variety : Rs 9,525.
