Railways to tie up with IT dept to offer reservation facility

Tirupati, Sep 1 (UNI) South Central Railway will soon launch a reservation facility along with the Andhra Pradesh IT Department at various e-seva centres in the state.

An MoU would be signed between Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation and the IT Department to make available the facility, SCR General Manager D N Mathur told reporters last night.

Railway tickets were also being issued online by State Bank of India, State Bank of Hyderabad and Andhra Bank to their ATM card holders, he added.
