Panda to be sec of Heavy Industries and Public Ent

New Delhi, Sep 1: Dr Ramesh Chandra Panda, a 1972 Batch IAS Officer of Tamil Nadu cadre, has taken over as the new Secretary, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises.

Prior to this assignment, Mr Panda was Secretary in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation. Mr Panda replaced Priyadarshi Thakur, who retired on superannuation.
