New Chief Secretary of UT assumes office

Pondicherry, Sep 1 (UNI) Mr Pradeep Mehara today assumed office as the new Chief Secretary of the Union Territory of Pondicherry.

He succeeds C S Khairwal, who retired from service yesterday.

However, Mr Khairwal would continue to be the Chairman of the State Information Commission, offical sources said.
