Jeev cards 72 at Fujisankei Classic 2nd round
Ito, Japan, Sep 1 (UNI) Jeev Milhka Singh continues to grope for his touch and with a second round of one-over 72, the seasoned Indian would need better show over the next couple of days for a top 10 finish in the 150 million yen Fujisankei Classic.
At the scenic Fujizakura Country Club today, Jeev had a poor round of 72 that took his tally to 142.
Jeev began on a sedate note and parred the first three holes before slotting a birdie on the fourth. But dropping a shot on the seventh meant the good work was undone as he took the turn at level par.
His back nine was worse, with bogeys on the 13th and 18th and though Jeev managed to squeeze in a birdie on the penultimate hole, it was of little consolation for the Indian.
