Govt. alleges irregularities in medical college admissions
Kochi, Sep 1 (UNI) The Kerala Government today submitted before the Justice P A Mohammed Admission Suprevisory Committee that the entrance examination and admissions by a consortium of private medical colleges in the state were riddled with irregularities.
In an affidavit filed by Counsel P V Dinesan and K K Ravindranath before the committee here, the state government said there were a lot of irregularities in the admission process which needed to be looked into.
The government also submitted the records related to the admissions.
The P A Mohammad committee is probing into the alleged irregularities in the entrance examinations conducted by consortium of private college managements.
The Supreme Court has directed the committee to complete its probe by September eight. The committee would hold sittings tomorrow and on Sunday also.
