New Delhi, Sep 1 (UNI) Low-cost airline GoAir has taken delivery of its fourth leased aircraft and announced plans to link Delhi with Goa, Bangalore and Pune.

It already connects the national capital with daily flights to Mumbai and Chennai. Across the country, the airline services 13 cities with 37 daily flights.

''We'll add another three aircraft to our fleet by November-end,'' said GoAir's managing director Jeh Wadia. The fleet comprising of 180-seater Airbus A320s will swell to 18 by December 07 and 33 a year later, he said.

GoAir has also placed order for 20 A320s worth 1.6 billion dollars -- 10 confirmed and 10 options.

Its parent company, the Wadia group, and SIA Engineering Company Limited (SIAECL) have signed a term sheet to form a joint venture company to offer maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services in India.

The JV will initially offer line maintenance services at eight major airports for narrow and wide body aircraft, said Mr Wadia.

There are plans to develop the JV into a centre of excellence for airframe maintenance of A320 and B737NG airliners, and the establishment of a leading aerospace engineering training institute.
