BDR assures BSF to trace Indian toddlers in Bangladesh
Shillong, Sep 1 (UNI) The Border Security Force (BSF) have sought the co-operation of the Bangladesh Rifles in the search operation of two abducted minors.
In a BSF-BDR bi-annual coordination meet yesterday, the Indian frontier guard urged their Bangladesh counterpart to track the four year-old toddlers, Sachit Goel and Harsha Goel, who were abducted by their driver for ransom on August 2.
''We have handed the photographs of these two children to the BDR,'' Inspector General BSF in-charge Tripura, Mizoram and Cachar frontier, S K Dutta said.
''The BDR delegation assured us to help in tracing the two toddlers in Bangladesh,'' Mr Dutta informed.
Mr Dutta said the BDR delegation led by Brigadier General S M Golam Rabbani was also expressed its concern over the incident.
Earlier, the Meghalaya police suspected that the abductors have hidden the two children somewhere along the Indo-Bangla border.
