Bailable warrant against Advocate for threatening a lady advocate

New Delhi, Sept 1 (UNI) The Delhi High Court has issued bailable warrant against advocate Gulshan Bajwa for allegedly threatening a lady advocate inside the court room, appearing for the opposition party.

A division bench headed by Justice Swatanter Kumar issued the bailable warrant for allegedly showing disregard to a fellow advocate and acting in an unprofessional manner.

Serving the show-cause notice returnable on September 5, the court asked Bajwa to state the reasons of such unprofessional behaviour against an advocate.

The Court said there were prima facie evidence of contempt of court which undermined the administration of justice delivery system.

While appearing in a matter for a client on August 17, Bajwa allegedly threatened the advocate for opposing his arguments before the bench.
