3 killed, 10 injured in road accident

Mirzapur, Sep 1 (UNI) Three people, including two women, were killed and 10 others injured when a sports utility vehicle (SUV) overturned in Jamalpur area here last night, police today said.

The victims hailing from Varanasi were returning after paying obeisance at Baba Latif Shah's 'mazaar' in the neighbouring Chandauli district.

The SUV turned turtle near a roadside pit filled with water.

While, three passengers died on the spot, the injured were later rushed to hospital.
