Two teenaged girls drowned in Rajkot Dist

Rajkot, Aug 31 (UNI) Two teenaged girls drowned in the Moj river at Upleta in Rajkot district yesterday.

Police today said the deceased, Janakben Hematbhai Mithapara (15) and Jayshriben Mansukhbhai (14), had gone to wash clothes in the river. Later, the girls decided to take a bath, when they slipped into deep water and drowned.

The bodies were retrieved later from the river and sent for the post-mortem, police added.
