Sealing in Rohini, West Zone, Karol Bagh, South and Shahdara

New Delhi, Aug 31 (UNI) Continuing with its drive to carrying out sealing and demolition of unauthorised constructions in various parts of Delhi, the MCD today sealed several properties in Rohini, West Zone, Karol Bagh, South Zone and Shahdara zones.

Sealing action was taken in various parts of Rohini Zone of MCD including Shalimar Bagh, Tronagar, Lawrence road, Pitampura and Prashant Vihar.

In West Zone, 40 shops were sealed in New Khayala Road and ten in Subhash Nagar. About 7500 sq feet of government land was freed from encroachments at New Khayla Road and Subhash Nagar by removing sheds, boundary walls, gate steps, kitchen garden etc.

In Karol Bagh, sealing was carried out at several unauthorised properties while demolition action continued in the Rama Road area.

In Central Zone, encroachment removal action was taken at 30 properties in NDSE Part-I. Twenty Properties were sealed at GK-II, Okhla, Lajpat Nagar, Tuklagabad and Defence Colony.
