PSL bags contract worth US$ 21 mn from Reliance Ports

Mumbai, Aug 31 (UNI) PSL Ltd today announced that it has secured a prestigious contract valuing US$ 21 million by Reliance Ports&Terminal Ltd (RPTL) for anti corrosion&weight concrete pipe coating.

In a notice to BSE, the company said the contract is expected to be completely executed between September, 2006 and February, 2007. It envisages design, engineering, supply&installation of sacrificial anodes, fabrication and coating work of induction bends for subsea 48''&30'' diameter pipelines for crude / product SPM systems for Reliance Jamnagar export refinery project.

The company has core competence in the discipline of engineering for ''Offshore Pipe Coating Project'' meeting stringent international technical specification and is also a sole service provider for design, engineering, supply&installation of sacrificial anodes, fabrication and coating of induction bends in this region.

Further the Company has informed that the Company had recently successfully completed similar work for a 48'' dia anti-corrosion pipe coating for Dolphin Energy Ltd, valuing approx. US$ 34 million.
