Police resort to mild lathicharge of ITI aspirants

Hubli, Aug 31 (UNI) Police resorted to mild lathicharge to control the huge number of students, who had come for admission in ITI here today.

Over 4,000 students had arrived for admission to 60 seats and as per the Government directions, all had to be interviewed by the authorities concerned. The selection would then be made based on the marks obtained and reservation quota.

Police had to resort to mild lathicharge to bring order among the students.
