Kingfisher to promote travelling in Northeast

Kolkata, Aug 31: Kingfisher Airlines has become a stratgic partner for North-East Tourism Development Corporation (NETDC) for promotion of travelling in picturesque Northeast.

A deal in this respect was signed between them on Wednesday.

"We signed an agreement with Kingfisher making it our strategic partner for promotion of tourism in seven North-Eastern states," NETDC chairman and Asom Governor Lt Gen Ajai Singh said at the Toursim Summit here. The agreement is for one year.

Operating Airbus-319S to the Northeast from Kolkata, the Vijay Mallia-owned King Fisher Airlines offers three packages for tourists from Dibrugarh, Guwahati and Agartala for visiting destinations in the North Eastern states.
