Bond fully fit and raring to go in Champions Trophy

Mumbai, Aug 31 (UNI) Kiwi pace spearhead Shane Bond today gave an early warning to the batsmen, saying that he has fully recovered from his injuries and is ready to breathe fire in the Champions Trophy beginning in October.

The ICC Champions Trophy which will be held in India from October 5 to November 7 will see all the 10 Test playing nations taking part in the tournament.

Shane Bond, speaking at a cricket shoe launch function here today, admitted that he felt very frustrating to sit out most of his career due to some injury or the other.

He, however added that he had put all that behind him now and was raring to have a go at the batsmen in the Champions Trophy to help his team do well in the tournament.

''We have a good team and are confident of a good showing in the Champions Trophy,'' he said.
