36 Puja Special Trains for north Bengal and Guwahati

Kolkata, Aug 31 (UNI) Eastern Railway has decided to run 36 Puja special trains for north Bengal and Guwahati.

Among them, 12 trains will run between Howrah and Alipurduar Jn., 12 others between Sealdah and New Jalpaiguri and rest 12 trains between Sealdah and Guwahati, an ER release said today.

The 0257 Up, Jowrah Alipurduar Weekly Super Fast Puja special will leave from Howrah at 2355 hrs on every Saturday from 23 September to 28 October and reach at Alipurduar Jn at 1245 hrs on Sunday.

On down direction, the 0258 Dn will start from Alipurduar Jn at 1545 hrs on every Sunday from 24 September to 29 October and arrive at Howrah at 0520 hrs on Monday.

These trains will consist of 17 coaches including 1 AC 2 tier, 1AC 3-tier, 11 Sleeper class, 2 general second class and 2 second class-cum-luggage vans.

The 0243 Up, Sealdah-New Jalpaiguri Weekly Puja special will leave Sealdah at 2340 hrs on every Friday from 22 September to 27 October and reach at New Jalpaiguri at 0920 hrs on Saturday.

On down direction. the 0244 Dn. New Jalpaiguri-Sealdah Weekly Puja special will start from New Jalpaiguri at 1920 hrs on every Saturday from 23 September to 28 October and arrive at Sealdah at 0530 hrs on Sunday.

These trains will consist of 17 coaches including 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 9 sleeper class, 3 general second class and 3 second class-cum-luggage vans.

The 0203 Up Sealdah-Guwahati Weekly special via Goalpara Town will start from Sealdah at 2340 hrs on every Monday from 24 September to 29 October and reach at Guwahati at 1845 hrs on Tuesday.

On return journey, the 0204 Dn, Guwahati-Sealdah Weekly Puja special will start from Guwahati on every Sunday at 1805 hrs from 25 September to 30 October and arrive at Sealdah at 1150 hrs on Monday.

These trains will consist of a total of 16 coaches including 1AC 3 tier, 10 sleeper class, 3 general second class and 2 second class-cum-luggage vans.

Eastern Railway will run altogether 84 Puja Special Trains including 34 for Delhi and 14 for Jodhpur.
