Woman killed for practising witchcraft

Agartala, Aug 30 (UNI) In a shocking incident, some miscreants ''brutally'' murdered a woman at Icha Cherra in Tripura.

The victim identified as Raima Debbarma was allegedly murdered last night suspecting her to be a witch, police said.

The body had been taken to Khowai hospital for post mortem, police added.

''Preliminary investigation revealed the locals of the village alleged her of practising witch craft,'' a police official said.
