Two Dalits killed

Kadapa, Aug 30 (UNI) Two Dalit youth were killed by their rivals near Koduru railway station following a scuffle over an eve-teasing incident.

The incident occured when two brothers Hari and Chakrapani, returning after Ganesh immersion in Railway Koduru last night, were attacked by eight persons with iron rods. Both died on the spot.

Their sister lodged a complaint with Railway Koduru police that her brothers were killed by one Murali and seven others.

She also told the police that on August 26, there was a scuffle between her brothers and Andhra Pradesh Special Police (APSP) Constable Viswanatham over the issue of teasing her. The girl charged that Viswanatham had organised the murder.

Police are investigating the case.
