Three students drown in pond

Koderma, Aug 30 (UNI) Three students of DAV school drowned in a pond today at Jhumri Tilleya in Jharkhand's Koderma district.

The trio were riding a bycycle. When they came near a pond one of them went to take a bath, police said.

Seeing him getting drowned, his two classmates plunged into the water to rescue him, but to no avail.

All the three victims--Rupam Kumar, Prabhat Kumar and Adil Akhtar-- were students of standard eight.
