Three members of family murdered

Nellore, Aug 30 (UNI) Three members of a family were allegedly stabbed to death by another family over a property dispute near Mohammedapuram village in Podalakuru mandal here today.

Police said one M Babu (32) had frequent quarells with P Venkaiah and today, when cattle belonging to Babu entered Venkaiah's property to graze, Venkaiah objected.

In due course, Venkaiah along with 14 others attacked him with sickles and knives.

In the melee, when Babu's aged parents tried to intervene, they were also attacked.

All three were killed on the spot, police added.

Nellore Superintendent of Police N Surya Narayana visited the spot.
