Spl trains between B'lore-Ernakulam during Onam festival

Bangalore, Aug 30: The South Western Railway (SWR) will be operating special trains between Ernakulam-Bangalore city-Ernakulam to clear the extra rush during the Onam festival.

A SWR release here today said Ernakulam-Bangalore city special (Train no: 0641) would leave Ernakulam at 1700 hrs on September four and 11 and arrive here at 0420 hrs the next day.

In the return direction, Bangalore city-Ernakulam special (Train No: 0642) would 1eave here at 1715 hrs on September five and 12 and reach Ernakulam at 0430 hrs the next day.

The release said Ernakulam-Bangalore city-Ernakulam super fast special (No: 0655) would leave Ernakulam at 1700 hrs on August 31 and September seven and arrive here at 0420 hrs the next day.

In the return direction Bangalore city-Ernakulam Special (No: 0656) would leave here at 1800 hrs on September one and eight and reach Ernakulam at 0630 hrs the next day.

Train No 0675 Bangalore city-Ernakulam Superfast special would leave here at 1715 hrs on September two and September nine and reach Ernakulam at 0430 hrs the next day.

In the return direction, the Ernakulam-Bangalore city superfast (No: 0676) would leave Ernakulam at 1830 hrs and reach Bangalore at 0715 hrs the next day.

The release said it had also been decided to further extend the Bangalore city-Hubli-Bangalore city bi-weekly express for three months to clear the extra rush.

The train would leave Bangalore on Thursdays and Saturdays at 2300 hrs and reach Hubli at 0710 hrs the next day. The first extended service from the city would be on September two and the last on November 30.

In the return direction, the train would leave Hubli on Fridays and Sundays at 2250 hrs and reach Bangalore at 0800 hrs the next day. The first extended service from the city would be on September one and the last on November 26.
