Under-construction building collapses in Capital

New Delhi, Aug 30: Several people are feared trapped after an under-construction three-storeyed building collapsed in Laxmi Nagar area of East Delhi this afternoon.

Fire Brigade sources said the building on the main road in Radhu Place's 'V' Block under Laxmi Nagar police station collapsed at about 1230 hrs.

About half a dozen vehicles have been sent for rescue operations.

Efforts are on to pull out those trapped in the debris and send more rescue teams, sources added.
