Police investigating murder of jewller from Kerala

Dubai, Aug 30 (UNI) Kuwaiti police are investigating the mysterious death of a jeweller from Kerala, whose body was found in his apartment.

The body of Vattakuzhy Chalil Augustine Joseph, 55, a business partner in Aishwarya Jewellery, was found on Sunday by his flatmate, who informed the police.

Reports said when the friend returned home after dinner he found Augustine's body lying on the bed with his hands and legs tied to the bed.

The room was found ransacked and things were scattered all over the place.

The police is speculating it as a case of murder and robbery.

Augustine is survived by two children, who reside in Cochin.
