Pakistan win toss, bowl against England

CARDIFF, Aug 30 (Reuters) Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl against England in the first of five one-day internationals today.

Pakistan were unchanged from the team that won the Twenty-20 international by five wickets on Monday.

England, seeking to end a sequence of eight successive defeats in limited overs matches, made one change, bringing in allrounder Rikki Clarke for Michael Yardy.

Teams: England: Marcus Trescothick, Ian Bell, Kevin Pietersen, Andrew Strauss (captain), Paul Collingwood, Jamie Dalrymple, Rikki Clarke, Chris Read, Sajid Mahmood, Darren Gough, Stuart Broad.

Pakistan: Shoaib Malik, Mohammed Hafeez, Younis Khan, Inzamam-ul-Haq (captain), Mohammed Yousuf, Kamran Akmal, Abdul Razzaq, Shahid Afridi, Rana Naved, Mohammad Asif.
