New explosion hits Turkish city - officials

ISTANBUL, Aug 30 (Reuters) An explosion in a trash container injured one person in Turkey's Mediterranean port city Mersin today, security officials said.

The blast follows five bombings in Turkish resorts and Istanbul on Sunday and Monday.
