MP Govt puppet of RSS: Digvijay

New Delhi, Aug 30 (UNI) Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh today alleged that an all-out attempt was being made by the Madhya Pradesh Administration to shield the culprits responsible for the murders of two professors in Ujjain and that the BJP Government in the state had become a puppet in the hands of the RSS.

The two persons who had lodged an FIR against the ABVP activists for the brutal murder of one of the two professors were being beaten up and harassed, he said, talking to reporters here.

Mr Singh said the entire media in the country had seen the persons on the TV beating up a professor to death and yet no arrests had been made in this connection on the pretext that there was no eye-witness to the incident.

The former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister said the president of the ABVP was generally a teacher whose job was to impart moral teachings to the students. "Whatever values he has inculcated into the students is evident from the brutal murder of a professor in the Ujjain incident." While one professor was beaten to death, another was injured and was admitted to hospital and the thrid died of shock, he said.

Mr Singh charged the RSS and ABVP beleived in ''creating terror'' so as to gather support."This is their character,'' he added.
