Chennai, Aug 30 (UNI) West Indian pacer Jermain Lawson today said he was training hard under Dennis Lillee at the MRF Pace Foundation here to get back to the national squad.

Lawson was not selected for the West Indies squad to play the forthcoming tri-series, also involving India and Australia, beginning in Kuala Lumpur from September 10.

Lawson, who made his debut at the historic Chepauk ground here in 2002, has come here to correct his bowling action.

''I always look forward to do well for West Indies and continue to bowl. That's why I am here training under the greatest fast bowler,'' Lawson said talking about training under Lillee in a short interaction with waiting reporters.

Called twice for suspect action in his short career so far, he was relieved when the ICC cleared him from charges of ''suspect arm flex''.

''I am looking forward to play good cricket again. It's been hard. All the while since being dropped I have been trying to be fit and looking for another break to play for the West Indies,'' Lawson said when asked if he was hopeful of getting back into the Windies squad for the forthcoming Champions trophy in India.

''It should not be a problem when I get another break, it should be okay,'' he added.
