Kingfisher and NETDC sign agreement
Kolkata, Aug 30 (UNI) Kingfisher Airlines today entered into an agreement with the North-East Tourism Development Corporation (NETDC) for promotion of tourism in the north-eastern states to attain the status of 'preferred airline' by NETDC.
''We signed an agreement with Kingfisher making it our strategic partner for promotion of tourism in seven North-Eastern states,'' NETDC chairman and Asom Governor Lt Gen Ajai Singh said at the Toursim Summit here. The agreement is for one year.
Operating Airbus-319S to the North-east from Kolkata, the Vijay Mallia-owned King Fisher Airlines offers three packages for tourists from Dibrugarh, Guwahati and Agartala for visiting destinations in the North-Eastern states.
