Internal security also to figure in CMs Conclave

New Delhi, Aug 30 (UNI) The Congress Chief Ministers' Conclave, to be held in Nainital on September 23 and 24, will also deliberate on internal security, besides agriculture.

The Conclave will discuss threat to the internal security both from terrorists as well as from naxalites, party sources said here today.

The Conclave, seventh of its kind since the practice started of hold such conference of Chief Ministers of Congress-ruled states when the party was in the Opposition, is expected to draw up a strategy to improve the agriculture scenario and to face the threat from terrorist and naxalites.

Congress Chief Ministers of 14 states are going to attend the Conclave, besides some Union Ministers and AICC Secretaries incharge of the states.
