Hurricane John, off Mexico's Pacific, strengthens
MEXICO CITY, Aug 30 (Reuters) Hurricane John, located off Mexico's Pacific coast, was upgraded to an even more powerful category 4 hurricane, the US-based National Hurricane Center said today.
A category 4 hurricane can pack winds of up to 249 kph, blow down trees, signs, roof structures and cause flooding.
