Hyderabad, Aug 30 (UNI) The CPI(M) today alleged that Andhra Pradesh would not get even a drop of Krishna water from the projects permitted by the Tribunal due to the laxity of the state government in putting forth its argument against it.

Making a Zero Hour mention in the Assembly, CPI(M) member Julakanti Ranga Reddy said the Krishna water Tribunal had allowed 10 projects in Karnataka and 48 in Maharashtra due to the negligence of the state government in putting forth its arguement.

He said if these projects were allowed, not even a single drop of river Krishna would flow into Andhra Pradesh.

The CPI(M) member said though the decision was taken by the Tribunal three months ago, the state government was yet to respond.

Replying, Agriculture Minister N Raghuveera Reddy said that the government was seized of the matter and assured that the concerned Minister would make a statement in the House on the developments.

CPI MLA Devudu alleged that the formation of a Girijan battalion in the state police was an attempt to put the SCs, STs and others who had joined the naxal movement against their own men.
