Explosives seized from Mizoram-Asom border

Aizwal, Aug 30 (UNI) A large quantity of explosives was seized from a bus in South Asom's commercial town Silchar at Kolasib border check post last night, police said here today.

The police said acting on a tip-off they recovered a huge quantity of explosives, including five boxes of industrial dynamite containing around 1000 sticks, from a Aizawl bound bus coming from Silchar.

Nobody has been arrested so far, the police added.
