DRDO transfers technology to 5 industry partners
New Delhi, Aug 30 (UNI) Scientific Advisor to the Defence Minister, M Natarajan formally handed over the Technology Transfer Documents to five industry partners here today.
He assured that the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) would work in tandem to ensure that quality standards are maintained while the industry partners undertake scaling up of the product and added value to the product.
And also, he hoped the industry partners would vigorously work to productionise the product at manageable cost, from the technology transferred to them.
The technologies were transferred to Southern Electronics, Bangalore; Quality Water Management, Chennai; Macvac Fabricators, Navi Mumbai; KV Fire Chemicals, Navi Mumbai and Hindustan Electro Graphite, Bhopal, DRDO Chief Controller (R&D) Sivathanu Pillai informed.
Over the past few years, DRDO had successfully transferred many useful technologies for bulk production industry partners.
