Dozens wounded by car bomb at Iraq army centre
HILLA, Iraq, Aug 30 (Reuters) A car bomb exploded outside a recruitment centre for the Iraqi army in the town of Hilla, south of Baghdad today, causing dozens of casualties, police said.
There were no further details. Hilla, 100 km south of the capital, is a mainly Shi'ite city with many Sunni Arabs living in the surrounding province. It has previously been hit by big suicide bombings but has been quiet of late.
